Late at NIGHT,
When no one’s AROUND,
I can feel a moment of PEACE,
Then I begin to STRATEGIZE
My next MOVE,
I take a moment to REFLECT,
I need a moment of CLARITY,
A moment just for ME...

MY HEART HURTS,
Yet I can’t let them KNOW,
LIGHTS,
CAMERA,
ACTION,
It’s time for
ANOTHER SHOW,
CUT,
STOP,
GO,
RIGHT,
LEFT,
UP,
DOWN,
ROUND & ROUND,
THEN BACK
AT ONE,

Look all around and

What do I see?

So much desperation that

Surrounds me!

MY HEART HURTS,
When I know there are kids going
HUNGRY IN MY OWN CITY,
CITY OF
LIGHTS,
CAMERA,
ACTION,
YES IT’S ALL FOR
SHOW,
They don’t know the pain
WE FEEL,
This Pain is
All too REAL,
DEAR MR. PRESIDENT,

Do you see all that I can see?

MY HEART HURTS,
When I know there’s
A Woman somewhere
Out there getting RAPED,
She’s CRYING,
I can hear her,
PLEASE BE STRONG

Jesus CHRIST,
PLEASE HEAL HER.

MY HEART HURTS,
When I know,
There’s a Young Boy,
Somewhere in the
CITY OF ANGELS,
Getting inducted to
The Neighborhood Gang,
No other choice,
He feels
For him there is
NO OTHER CHOICE,
YET THERE IS,
YOUNG BOY,
PLEASE HEAR ME OUT,
IN LIFE THERE IS
ALWAYS ANOTHER Route
YOU CAN TAKE! 

MY HEART HURTS,
When I drive by
HOLLYHOOD,
Not so GLAMOROUS,
With so many people
Sleeping outside in
The Blistering Cold,
For them there is
No One to Hold.

MY HEART HURTS,
LIGHTS,
CAMERA,
ACTION,
TIME FOR ANOTHER
SHOW,
YET I KNOW,
I CAN SPARK A CHANGE!

MY HEART HURTS,
Yet it’s Time,
I can hear them,
LIGHTS,
CAMERA, 

IT'S TIME FOR US 

TO TAKE

ACTION!
