From Upcoming Poetry Book- "Conversations With God"

"Conversations With God"

Forgive me God,
I've lived life as a sinner,
Kept my hands clean,
Yet they consider me
To be guilty by affiliation,
I speak to them,
Try to give them hope,
An opportunity to
Dream for more,
Obtain their goals,
This pain in my
Heart won't diminish,
The sadness doesn't
Seem to fade away,
I pray,
I repent every day,
Rejoice when I'm
Around my loved ones,
They don't understand
What angers me,
The pain of my past
Won't drown the
Blessings that are
Sure to come,
I feel your love,
Your strength
Protecting me as
I'm moving in & out
Of these filthy streets,
Keep paving a way for
Me & I will walk on proudly,
This is me,
A work in progress,
I'm a saint,
I'm a sinner,
I'm not perfect but
I know...
I'm worth it!

"Broke the Mold"

"Broke the Mold"

Use to think I needed
To be a size zero
To be considered
A young girl's hero,
White America
Painted a false picture
For the youth to follow,
Vogue told me I had
To be a blond hair,
Blue eyed beauty,
I didn't fit the mold,
So I broke through it,
Dark brown eyes
That have been known
To mesmerize a few,
Curves that sway
Side to side to the
Base line,
A General's mind state,
Call it faith,
It was my destiny,
To build my own
Entity,
Give wings to the weak,
Show others how to
Take off & fly so high,
Darling get ready to
Kiss the sky,
Unstoppable,
I paint a pretty
Picture with the gift
Of word play,
Can't compare me
To most,
Behold the power
Inside this little
Body of mine,
In time I'll continue
To shine brighter
Than the eye can see,
No worries,
In time you'll
Know just
What I mean!

Dedicated to My Ancestors Who Were Brutally Murdered During The 1915 Armenian Genocide! You Will Never Be Forgotten!- "Mommy...Can Your Hear Me"

"Mommy...Can You Hear Me"

Mommy I know you love me,

You rub on your tummy daily &
Say how you can’t wait to hold me,
I hear you singing to me,
You sing so beautifully,
I can’t wait till you kiss me on my
Cheek and show me what
This world really has to offer me…

Mommy I’m hungry,

Mommy I’m thirsty,
Why are you crying?
Do you still love me?
I'm scared,
Curled up inside of you,
Mommy why do you keep on
Walking without even stopping?
Mommy why do I hear gun shots?
Why are these men raping you?
Mommy please stop screaming,
Mommy please protect me,
Something stabbed into
My chest right through
My little heart!
Mommy I gasping for air…
I feel myself fading away,
Mommy come with me,
Mommy please hold me,
I love you,
I hope you know...
Mommy I know you love me too,
Mommy please heal me,
Follow me to heaven,
Mommy hand in hand
Let’s go to kiss the
Sky together…

THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE DID OCCUR,

THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IS NOT A MYTH,
THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE DID TAKE PLACE ON,
APRIL 24, 1915 & OVER 1.5 MILLION OF
MY ANCESTORS WERE
BRUTALLY MURDERED,
PLEASE SUPPORT OUR CAUSE IN DECLARING THIS
AS A BRUTAL MASSACRE OF ARMENIANS!

Dedicated to the Victims of the Earthquake That Took Many Lives in Haiti In 2010- "Find My Family"

“Find My Family”

Can anyone hear me?
I’m under a pile of rubble,
With nothing but water above me,
My house is gone,
My family is laying here sideways,
Trying to call out for help but
Only bubbles come out of my mouth,
Holding my sister’s hand,
My baby brother laying on my lap,
Mom and dad were at work when
We felt the quake,
Then a rush of water surrounded us,
Dear Mr. President,
We’re still under water,
Can you possibly help us?
My sis and lil bro look peaceful as they
Sleep but I don’t think they are sleeping,
I think they are on their way to
Live with God now,
I want to follow them but
I have to find momma and daddy,
Where are they?
Dear Mr. President,
Can you help me locate my family?
Wonder if they are on their way to see God too?
I want to know…
What happened to my family,
I’m only nine,
My sister was six and my
Lil brother turned three yesterday,
It was his birthday,
Now he’ll forever remain three in my eyes,
Dear Mr. President,
We’re laying under water,
Floating just waiting for you to find a way
To get us out of here,
I JUST WANT TO REST PEACEFULLY
ALONG WITH MY FAMILY!
