“Tragic Love Story”
I’m on my cocky tip,
Take another sip of
That dark brown,
My mind is cloudy
But my words are clear,
You wanted loyalty so
I gave you all of me,
You wanted honesty so
I let the truth ring free,
All you wanted,
I provided,
Never enough,
My love you rejected,
Before walking out,
Remember these words,
Once you’ve had the best,
The rest seem laughable,
It's plausible,
What we had could
Have been the greatest
Love story to be told,
Now it's a tragic lesson learned,
Never to be repeated and
Easily forgotten...
